Under the moto "Poetry with a Sea Flavor" we invite you to celebrate our XLII World Congress of Poets, under the auspicies of the World Academy of Arts ans Culture, in this ocassion will take place on the DIVINA cruise, (MSC cuise line) in an unforgettable crossing on the Mediterranean Sea, departing from (Rome) Civitavecchia, visiting Siracusa, Italy; La Valeta, Malta; Santorini, Greece; Mykonos, Greece, returning to Civitavecchia, Italy, from September 22 to 29, 2023, (7 nights).
This congress is being organized by the Executive Board of World Congress of Poets, Inc., that presides María Eugenia Soberanis and as Vice-Presidents: Ernesto Kahan, Istvan Turczi and Ma. Guadalupe Chávez.

Travel early from Roma to Civitavecchia (it takes about one and a half hour to get there). You can move
on:
TRAIN: 1:18 minutes. Cost from $ 6 to $ 50 euros, depending the service.
TAXI: 57 minutes. Cost from $ 110 to $ 140 euros.
BUS: 1:50 minutes. Cost from $ 12 to $ 19 euros, depending the service.
Upon arrival to Civitavecchia you should get to the DIVINA MSC Cruise Line
Pier, to do your check-in to
the Cruise and get on board at 13:00 hrs.
The Cruice departs at 17:00 hrs., however, we can get on board at 13:00 hrs.
We must do it at 15:00 hrs to go directly to register for the congress at
the Black&White hall and receive your welcome kit, program, badges, payments of membership
and anthology´s fee.
The Registration to the congress will be from 15:00 to 16:00 hrs, then we
can go to have lunch.
After the Boat leaves there will be a Mandatory evacuation drill.
Please be puntual in the activities that are schedualed and we insist you to attend all the events as a
courtesy to our collegues. We have tried to make this program so that you have time to go down to see the
beautiful places where we will be and at the same time you may enjoy the boat.
Weather is very nice at that time, 21 to 24 degrees celsuius. Inside the boat
there is a strong air
conditioning, a blazer is recommended
Dress code: It is requested that, in literary events, do not attend in bermudas
or shorts. The Opening
Ceremony is a solemn act and you are asked to attend in a semi-formal way. Men can add a blazer to their
wardrobe, for example.
Meals- The food at the boat is excellent and has several options for
breakfast, lunch and dinner, at your
choice. In the program you will see the main restaurant indicated as a place to dine, however, the ship
has a series of specialized restaurants that you can attend, making your reservation
in advance, and they
have an extra cost.
Beverages- (non alcoholics) with your meals are included at the main
restaurant. As soon as the individual
ID of each cabin is generated you will be able to buy online, for an extra
cost, the beverage package of
your choice.
Tours- The ship offers different tours to take in each port where it docks,
they can be purchased upon
arrival at the ship. You can also disembark and find touristic guides who offer to accompany you, even
taxis that serve as guides too, and it is cheaper.

Only those attendants to the 42nd. World Congress of Poets
registered and paid before May 15th., 2023 may participate in
its commemorative Anthology.
Each poet is entitled to have THREE PAGES. (in which you may
publish one, two or three poems ).
